Stops:
At Terminal 1: outside the T1 Arrivals area (P0) and the Departures area (P3).
At Terminal 2: in front of the Joan Miró mural.

Frequency: every 5 to 15 minutes from 06:00 to 01:00.

Approximate journey time: 20 minutes

Cost: 5.90€ for a single trip. 10.20 for a return ticket.

Buying tickets: Online, from ticket machines, from staff at stops/driver (in the latter case, only in cash with a maximum change of 20€).

Not all taxis accept credit card payments; verify whether credit cards are accepted before leaving the airport.

Approximate journey time: 20-40 minutes.

Commuter Train

Station: connected to Terminal 2 via an air bridge (free shuttle bus service between the station and Terminal 1, every 30 minutes).

Cost: 2.50€.

Approximate journey time: 25 minutes.

Main stations in city centre: “Barcelona Sants”, “Barcelona Passeig de Gràcia” and “Barcelona Estació de França” Railway Station.

At NIGHT (from 21:50 to 04:40), night bus ‘NitBus N17′, from Terminal 1, every 20 minutes.

If you would like to travel by public transport we recommend you T-10 (1 zone). Multi-person card for 10 journeys. It is valid for metro, bus and tram within the city. It can be used by different people and you can make several transfers within 75 minutes.

Taxi

Official Barcelona Taxis are yellow and black with a green light on the top of the Taxi indicates that it’s available for hire. Most taxis are licensed to carry up to 4 passengers however some van taxis have a special license to carry up to 6 passengers. If you require a taxi to carry 6 passengers, it is better to book it by phone.

If you’re attempting to get around in the very heart of the city, a taxi may not be the best choice. Most of the city center is pedestrianized and the roads that go through the center can be quite small and congested.
