Call for papers

Barcelona, April 10th 2015

Dear colleague,

We are pleased to announce the 6th Spanish Conference on Input–Output Analysis to be hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Barcelona on the 8th and 9th of September 2015, organized by the Hispanic-American Input–Output Analysis Society (SHAIO), the University of Barcelona, the Autonomous University of Barcelona, and Idescat. Moreover, on the 7th of September the 1st edition of the Spanish School of Input–Output Analysis will take place. In this first edition three courses will be offered approaching basic and interesting topics on input–output analysis.

Call for papers

Abstracts should not exceed 500 words and must be submitted (in Spanish and English) using COPASS-SHAIO before May 10th, 2015. The Scientific Committee will communicate the acceptation of abstracts not later than May 31st, 2015. Once accepted, the full manuscript must be submitted via COPASS-SHAIO before June 20th, 2015.

The Conference is fully open to the international scientific community so Spanish and English are admitted for submission. Submissions in English might be grouped together in English-only speaking sessions.

Submissions must be ascribed to one of the following thematic areas:

  1. Construction and balancing of input-output tables.
  2. Methodological aspects of input-output analysis.
  3. Social Accounting Matrices.
  4. Applied General Equilibrium Models.
  5. Analysis of physical and monetary flows.
  6. Ecological and environmental economics.
  7. International trade and value added generation.
  8. Structural change.
  9. Sectoral analysis.
